Jeep. Your adventure awaits.
About me and my passion for Jeep
I’ve been a car enthusiast all my life. I got my first Jeep when I was about 7 years old - an
orange Matchbox. I love that little Jeep, it was definitely my favorite. When I was 16 I
worked all summer hauling hay bales at 3 cents a bale to buy my first car - a 1969 Camaro
from my dad. Yeah, Camaro’s are another love of mine. Many other vehicles would follow
that first purchase - along with wifes, kids, you know, adult obligations.
It was not until 2004 that I got my first Jeep. A brand new Patriot blue Sport “plus” TJ with
many factory upgrades, like Dana-44 axles all around (limited slip - no lockers), 4-wheel
disk brakes, etc. I spent the next 11 years upgrading and wheeling her all over the Sierra
Nevada mountains, including some time on the famous Rubicon Trail. Hunting, fishing, trail
riding and spending time with my kids and my parents.
I sold her in 2014 and instantly regretted it. It would be a long three years before I got
another TJ - a 2004 shale green metallic Rubicon. As many Jeepers know - the TJ is one of the
most popular and capable Jeeps ever made. We’ve had many adventures together, alone and
with friends.And this year - 2020 - I got a “new” 2018 Rubicon Recon edition JK, and I look
forward to many adventures with her in the future.
This site will be where I chronicle my Jeep adventures. From upgrades, modifications, as
well as trips and trails. Thanks for coming along for the ride and maybe we’ll see you on the
trail...
